I enjoy looking at my friends’ cigar blogs (for example, Cigar Jack, Stogie Review and Stogie Guys) - these established sites provide interesting and up-to-date content. If you are starting a blog, here come some tips to find content:

• First of all, set up a Google Alert about your keyword (”cigar” in our case). This way, you get the latest updates on, for example, the new US legislation
• What’s good about cigars is that every smoked one gives you an opportunity to write a new post. Just don’t forget to take notes while you are smoking. Make some beautiful photos, this greatly improves the review quality (IMHO). If you can make videos, go for it, just make sure it’s not too long
• Link to other blogs. But, never-ever repost their content word-by-word, you can for example feature a snippet of another post with a link to the original source
• Do not be afraid of contacting cigar manufacturers. They might provide you with interesting information about their brands and some free samplers :)
